Knock Knock

Vivian and Violet have been telling Knock Knock jokes constantly. They sit at breakfast and tell jokes to each other back and forth for so long!

Violet's favorite one: "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Chicken." "Chicken who?" "Chicken goes to Talifornia."  Then Vivian says, "Good one Violet."

She does this over and over and over again.

Her newest one is: "Knock knock." "Who's there?" "Cow." "Cow who?" "Cow jumps over the moon." "Hahahaha. Good one Violet.... Mom listen to what Violet just said..."

These girls are constant entertainment.

Sharing a Room

We went up to Wisconsin last week and put Vivian and Violet into the same room to share.  They did so well!  Vivian would sing to Violet every night to help her go to sleep.  It really worked.  The second night, though, Vivian sang to Violet and then it was quiet for a few minutes.  Vivian said, "Violet........ Violet!"  Violet said, "What." Then Vivian said, "GO TO SLEEP!" Violet said "OTAY." and then they went to sleep.

I was right outside the door listening and almost laughed out loud.

Vivian did a great job sleeping all week.  Violet woke up a few times in the middle of the night and called me and actually cried for a while.  Vivian just slept right through everything.  I actually can't believe how well she sleeps.

We are still working on getting Violet to consistently sleep through the night.  Before Wisconsin we thought it might be because she was scared which is why we put them in the same room.  We'll see if this will work long-term.  I sure hope so!!!
