Words

Violet's first word was probably "bye bye." She started saying that before she turned one and we were still living with Mark's parents she was always sitting in her high chair eating breakfast or dinner when people were coming and going. She would even do the wave with it. :) super cute.

Technically her first word coul have been bird or ball because she would see those things and say "buh," but she also said that when she saw a dog or a water bottle, so we didn't count it.

She is now almost 14 months (in 8 days) and she says a few more fun things. I will bullet point them in order of when she started saying them:

- bye bye

- bird

- ball

- hi

- banana (hilarious, I took videos)

- hat

- shoe

She might also say burrito and watermelon but it's hard to understand. If I wasn't standing there watching  her pointing at those things wagging her tongue around, it would be totally indistinguishable. 

She's a pretty smart cookie. We are working on better behavior at the table. We'll see how that goes.
